Favour Selected for Oral Talk at RNA Canada/RiboClub 2024!

In October 2024, I was honoured to present an oral talk at the RNA Canada ARN / RiboClub Annual Meeting in Ottawa. This event brought together over 500 researchers to discuss advancements in RNA-based technologies.

My presentation focused on detecting N6-methyladenosine (m6A) RNA modifications using CHEUI, a deep learning tool developed by our Computational RNA Biology group for analyzing Oxford Nanopore direct RNA sequencing data. I also shared our findings on m6A-SNPs analysis, exploring how genetic variants may influence RNA methylation patterns.

Participating in this conference provided valuable insights into the latest developments in RNA biology and allowed me to connect with leading scientists in the field. The experience was both inspiring and instrumental in shaping my ongoing research.
